The intelligent car that reads the thoughts of the driver!

Nissan and a Swiss university designed a car that can “read” the thoughts of the driver and prepare the car for the next move.

The plan is based on “measurement of brain activity in conjunction with eye movement.

“The car’s electronic brain scans its surroundings using its sensors while it drives the vehicle so it becomes possible to predict the next movement of the driver. The vehicle will then be prepared to maneuver by reducing speed, if necessary, or turn right or left.

EPFL spokesman said that investigations would last four years and that they are hoping to have the prototype ready by the end of the year.
