Is salt bad for our health?

Australian researchers dispute the general guidance of experts, which encourage diabetics to reduce salt in their diet.

A recent study shows that patients with higher levels of sodium in their urine had lower risk of death within 10 years.

“These data call into question the recommendations that all adults should try to reduce their salt intake,” said Dr. Elif I. Ekinci from the University of Melbourne in Victoria.

This does not mean that we should overeat the salt though. Everything in moderation!
